Joyce Hue

Background:

 

Joyce is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with the renowned National Guild of Hypnotherapy (USA) and holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (UK) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (Singapore). She is also a registered counsellor with Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia after completing her Masters in Counseling at University Malaya. 

 

Area of Expertise:

 

She utilizes techniques such as Schema therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help her clients. She also focuses a lot on Compassion Focused therapy, in which forgiveness and kindness toward yourself is key. Joyce is an experienced practitioner who has been working with both individual clients and the corporate world. She specializes in depression, anxiety disorders, addiction, lifestyle, mood and self-esteem issues. She is able to utilize different forms of psychotherapy techniques to appropriately address mental health problems.

  • MSc in Counseling (University of Malaya)

  • BSc in Psychology and Management (Upper Iowa University)

  • Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (London College of Clinical Hypnosis; Tan Sock Seng Hospital)

  • Certified Hypnotherapist from the National Guild of Hypnotist (USA)

  • Ph.D. in counselling at Universiti Malaya (ongoing)

  • Certified HRDF Trainer – Certificate No: 4254

  • Certified EMDR practitioner (Australia)

  • Certified Schema Therapist (Australia)
