Individual Psychotherapy


Psychotherapy is the treatment of mental disorders through the use of psychological techniques designed to encourage insight into problems, with the goal being relief of symptoms, changes in behaviour. This will lead to improved social, quality of life, vocational functioning, and personality growth. 

These techniques rely mainly on establishing a relationship between the therapist and the patient as a means of developing the patient’s insight into the motivation behind his or her behaviour Psychotherapy also helps clients to learn healthy coping techniques to manage their emotions and negative thoughts.
