Psychological Assessments

Psychological assessment is a way for the clinical psychologist to understand the client, diagnose and plan treatment. It is also used to evaluate the effectiveness of a treatment as well as the client’s functioning in multiple areas.

With the help of assessments, it allows a clinical psychologist to have a clear view of the individual’s skills and to reach a diagnosis and guide treatment.

For instance, a medical doctor would order a blood test to find out the cause of a physical symptom. The same goes for a clinical psychologist who would use a psychological assessment to assess the clients’ abilities and skills.

Relife mental health clinic provides psychological assessment on mood, daily functioning, intellectual, and specific cognitive functioning of an individual.
