Hao Xin

Background:

 

Hao Xin is an Art Psychotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC) in the United Kingdom and a member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). She uses art as a primary medium of communication to support her clients exploring and expressing their concerns. There is no art skill and experience needed. Through painting, drawing, using clay, making collages, or even scribbling, Hao Xin encourages clients to reflect on their processes and feelings when words are not enough.

 

Area of Expertise:

 

Hao Xin works with children, adolescents and adults with concerns such as self-esteem, relationships, anxiety, anger, feeling lost and many more. Also, she works with refugees and children with learning needs to encourage self-expression and empowerment.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Flinders University & HELP University College

  • Masters in Art Psychotherapy, University of Roehampton
