Background:

Dr. Chow Soon Ken is a psychiatrist who is a member of Malaysian Medical Association Malaysian Psychiatric Association. Dr. Ken specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry alongside general psychiatry (mood disorders such as depression and anxiety) and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He has published many noted papers on mood disorders especially on depression and anxiety affecting healthcare workers, other professionals and socioeconomics impacts of covid-19 pandemic. He has also investigated the underlying causes of Pseudocyesis and delusional miscarriages in patients with breast and ovarian cancers. Dr. Ken has worked as a psychiatrist in well-known institutes like UMMC, Hospital Teluk Intan, Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He has also worked as a Medical Officer in UMMC, Selayang Hospital, Klang hospital and Community clinic Rantau Panjang, Kelantan.
